Wally Parnell has been inducted in The Pathway of Fame

A musician who began his career with the Salvation Army bands, Wally Parnell joined the Peterborough Citizens Band in 1949 and became its conductor a year later. For more than 60 years, he was an integral member of the Peterborough Concert Band.  Wally Parnell also served as president of the Peterborough Federation of Musicians for 19 years.
