Moondance is Peterborough's oldest music store (celebrated our 30 year anniversary in 2004) owned and operated by music lovers for music lovers of all stripes.

In store you'll find an eclectic selection of music, contemporary and classic rock as well as jazz, world, folk, country, bluegrass, reggae and classical - thousands of individual titles. In our bins you will discover deep selections for several important artists.

The number of blues CDs in stock, as well as the large selection of progressive rock imports we carry, is impressive. In addition, Moondance is the source for music related t-shirts, posters and magazines. Pick up the latest edition of Mojo.

We have relationships with distributors across North America and around the world giving us access to several hundred thousand CDs for special orders.

Much of our time and effort is devoted to helping customers locate rare, obscure and imported CDs. We are happy to do the research for you, order it and then call you when it's in. Our staff are both knowledgeable and enthusiastic about music and love to share this passion with you.

The CD playing on the stereo is always on display so if you like what you hear, it's easy to pick up. From the latest release to the "must have" collection or obscure import, whatever music you are looking for, it will either be in the store or we'll know where to get it.
