John Lang has had great artistic success as a composer and musician in a
variety of pursuits. Before moving to Peterborough in the late 1980s
he did everything from compose and play the original score for a
renowned National Ballet of Canada production, The Blue Snake,
to playing keyboards for the influential rock band Rough Trade.
Since moving to Peterborough he has continued to create original
music for dance and theatre, both locally and in Toronto, and create
music for film and television, for which he has won a Gemini Award.
