Hailing from beautiful Lakefield, Ontario, Canada, The Heffernan Family & Friends grew up in a Village boasting beautiful landscapes and waterways and in a home filled with music.
The group consists of "friends" Tom King and Cam Frost and "Heffernans" - Mary Jo, Betty Ann, Kevin, Michelle, Patricia and Jeannie.
The group began with the two oldest Heffernan sisters in the early 60's and the rest of the siblings joined in as time went on. Tom King joined the group in 1982 and brother-in-law Cameron Frost joined in 1989. They have been performing together ever since. A church choir on weekends and a folk group at all other times, the group has enjoyed the opportunity to complete two recordings and now focuses on charity concerts in their hometown and area.
Their parents, Kevin and Barbara (Leonard) Heffernan, have been their greatest inspiration through the years.
