Full Throttle writes in June
2008:
Full Throttle is a new young band
from Peterborough Ontario. The 5 piece band features musicians from
11 years of age to 13. The band is made up of Jacob Pyche on Lead
Guitar, Drummer Drew Phillips, Ryerson Manley on Rhythm Guitar, Bass
Player David Laurie, and Singer Ben Meek. The band was formed four
years ago and perform classic rock covers as well as a growing
original song list. The band has been very busy with many bookings
as word spreads about this incredible band that play well beyond
their years. They have helped raise money for local charities such
as the Rubidge Fire Victims concert at The Junction. The band has
performed at the Rotary Victoria Day Family Day event at the Fred
Anderson Stage (Del Crary) getting a standing ovation from the five
to six thousand in the crowd. Upcoming gigs have the boys playing
at Wakefest and The Festival Of Lights as well as a local TV show
appearance. This high energy band delivers a great power pack of
hit songs that are great to dance along with or sing along with.
The originals are surely going to take them to stardom.
