Elyse Bruce knew she would be a songwriter and performer when she was 28 months old. Quite a few years later, she is living her dream and has added composer, arranger, educator, and arts events organizer, among other job descriptions, to an already impressive career. 

She began her career before MIDI and has continued to explore new technologies while keeping old techniques alive. Elyse has always embraced any advancement in music that has added to the music as well as cherished how music came to be. 

With a strong background in classical, jazz and pop music, saying Elyse is an eclectic artist only scratches the surface of this artist. Elyse defies labels and convention, preferring to write and perform according to her heart's desire. And yet, each song written and each song performed retains a quality that can only be described as Elyse's signature sound.
