An Oxford Organ Scholar, Brian Jackson came to Peterborough as organist of
St. John’s Anglican Church and involved himself in many aspects of
the city’s musical life throughout the 1970’s. He conducted the
Peterborough Symphony Orchestra, wrote the scores for two musicals
at the Peterborough Theatre Guild, and played organ for several
oratorios performed at local churches. He is presently conductor of
the Victoria Symphony Orchestra, the Kitchener-Waterloo Orchestra
and Pops conductor of Orchestra London Canada.
