Upon moving to Peterborough in the early 90's Barbara got involved with the local University Radio Station where she has co-hosted the Good'n Country Show on Trent Radio 92.7fm for almost 14 years, every Saturday morning from 7am to noon, with her good friend and bantering partner, Barb Bell , thus the beginning of her love for true country music began (never forgetting her folk roots). The Good’n Country show prides itself on the fact that they promote and welcome all local and area artists to showcase their talents at the radio station and quite a few get invited to participate in the many fundraisers they organize.
Early in 2004, Barbara started a new life on her own and began writing again. After 20 years away from playing/singing, her first CD entitled "Never Say Never" was released in November 2004 with 5 originals and 2 Patsy Cline tracks. Her 2nd CD called ”I Never Stopped Missing you”, was released in August 2006 with the title track being a song written for her late father. Another song entitled “Angels Without Wings” was written for her mother. “Every song is a piece of my life, a piece of my heart” says Barb. Her 3rd CD, in collaboration with Jacque Marie Jacobs and Keith Merryweather, titled “Worth the Wait”, came out in May of 2007 with some good old country favorites.
