Nationally renowned, Green began playing the piano at age four and
before she was 12 had played in Toronto. When she won five
categories at a festival in Toronto open to all of Canada, a special
medal was struck for the feat. She was a noted Bach interpreter,
gave many recitals at Massey Hall and Eaton Auditorium and played a
series of recitals on the CBC national network. She gave her last
public concert at St. John's Anglican Church in 1981 when she was
74.
