62 NORTH is a new band on the
Ontario country music scene. Based near Peterborough, they have
started playing shows across southern & central Ontario. Along with
their original material, they deliver hit after hit from both
Nashville and Can-country radio in their show. The core of the band
consists of Dylan Mader, lead vocalist & bassist , Frank Towns,
guitarist and backing vocalist, and D. J. Brown, drummer. The band
incorporates other musicians whenever possible, adding in fiddle,
keyboards and steel guitar. 62 North recorded their first CD
"LIVE...off the floor" at Northumberland Studio 29 in Feb. 2007, a 5
song demo style CD including 2 original songs. The tracks were
recorded live & simultaneously to capture their live energy. They
are also working material for their first full length C.D. release
and showcase these songs in their act as well.
